The story bank

Your story

Statistics get debated; stories get remembered. If a selection process shut you out, held you back, or told you out loud what it thought of men like you — put it on the record here.

The rules, up front

Reviewed by a person. Every submission goes into a private queue — nothing appears on this site automatically. Anonymous by default. If we ever want to publish anything identifying, we ask you first, and no is a complete answer. True accounts only. This campaign has one asset — being right — and we will not spend it on an invented story. Fabricated submissions are binned. See how your data is handled in the privacy policy.

If your situation is live — you were passed over recently, or it's happening now — read Know Your Rights first. The tribunal clock runs at three months less one day, and your story matters more as a claim than as a post.

Stories are anonymous by default — this is only so we know how to address you.

Dates and plain facts beat adjectives: what was said, who decided, what you were told. Don't name private individuals — employers and public bodies are fine.

Only if you're happy for us to follow up. Never published, never shared.

Some of what gets written here is heavy. If you're struggling — not campaign-struggling, properly struggling — Samaritans, free, any time: 116 123. Talk first. This form will still be here tomorrow.
