Tell us what's happening

Your request stays private. One person reads it, and with your consent we introduce you — by an email you're copied on — to a vetted supporter who may be able to help.

What this is

An introduction service

We connect you with vetted supporters — legal professionals, people who've been through tribunals, volunteers. Free, no referral fees in either direction, no obligation on either side.

What this isn't

A law firm

Backbone Britain doesn't give legal advice and can't promise a match or an outcome. Anything a supporter tells you after an introduction is between you and them.

Timing

Days, not minutes

One person reads every request — allow a few days. Requests are never published, never quoted, never used in campaign material. Ever.

If a tribunal deadline is close, act now — don't wait for us. Most employment claims must start within three months less one day of the act you're complaining about. Start ACAS early conciliation today (it pauses the clock), and see Know Your Rights for the step-by-step.

If things feel heavier than a work problem — this inbox is read every few days, not every hour. Talk to someone now: Samaritans, 116 123, free, any hour. Or CALM, 0800 58 58 58, 5pm–midnight. You matter more than the case.

Your request

Required — an introduction is an email, and you're copied on it so you always see exactly who received your details. Never published.

Helps us match you with support nearby.

Employment tribunal claims usually have a three-months-less-one-day time limit. If a date is looming, say so — and don't wait for us: start ACAS early conciliation now.

Plain facts help most: what happened, when, what you've done so far. Don't name private individuals — employers and public bodies are fine.
